An MCB cover box is a plastic box that holds one or more MCBs (miniature circuit breakers). It covers the live parts so nobody touches them by mistake. It also keeps dust out.
You may hear other names. People say MCB box, miniature circuit breaker box, circuit breaker box, MCB enclosure box or MCB electrical enclosure. They all mean the same thing in a home or shop.
MCB box vs distribution board. A bigger metal board is called a power distribution box, breaker distribution box, circuit distribution box or electrical distribution enclosure.
